- Damages to a third party vehicle (If you want coverage for both - own as well as third party damages then buy comprehensive bike insurance)
- Damage caused to a third-party property
- Injuries caused to other people in an accident

Liberty General Insurance offers a number of add-on covers for your two-wheeler including engine safe cover, roadside assistance cover, depreciation cover, GAP cover, just to name a few. However, if you’re looking for an add-on policy for your bike, do be sure to read the policy wordings carefully before buying a policy from Liberty General Insurance
Should I buy third-party or comprehensive bike insurance?
According to the Motor Vehicle Act of 1988, it is mandatory to have third-party insurance for your two wheeler. However, if you’re an owner of a bike, then we recommend that you opt for a comprehensive insurance policy. The comprehensive policy includes other covers for your bike, other than third party insurance.
You should also look to buy an add-on insurance policy cover so that you can secure the best possible protection for yourself. Some of the add-on policies include Depreciation Cover, Engine Safe Cover, Passenger Assist Cover, Gap Value, Key Loss Cover, Roadside Assistance Cover, Consumable Cover.
What is depreciation cover in bike insurance?
Depreciation cover is also known as bumper to bumper bike insurance policy. Depreciation cover does not deduct for depreciation, thus offering complete cover. It means that if your vehicle gets damaged in an accident, no depreciation is subtracted from the coverage for depreciation and the insurance company will pay out the entire cost of the body part for replacement. This stays standard regardless of whether the bike insurance is in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore or someplace else.
